Nintendo Switch Game Titles Increasing With Dark Souls 3, THQ Nordic Games

Nintendo Switch game titles seemed to be increasing as the platform's March 2017 launch date draws near. THQ Nordic has confirmed several titles under development while Dark Souls 3 is reportedly being ported for the Switch.

THQ Nordic Brings Two Games

THQ Nordic recently bought a number of game titles including Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and War Leaders as well as Legends of War. The company's CEO and founder Lars Wingefors believed that the Sphinx will be a "hit" with Nintendo fans. He also announced that his company is currently developing two Nintendo Switch game titles. Wingerfors however, declined to neither name the titles of the game nor give any details about the development progress. He also did elaborate if the two are new or old game titles that will be ported to the Nintendo platform.

Darks Souls 3 Porting Rumors

The rumors about Dark Souls 3 being included as a Nintendo Switch game title was first reported by Laura Kate Dale via Tweeter. It seems Dark Souls 3 developer From Software and Nintendo are currently negotiating a deal. Porting the game to the Switch has also been going on for a number of months now.

From Software Has Conditions

From Software will agree to make Dark Souls 3 part of the Nintendo Switch game titles only if it's "financially viable". Basically, the developer will only commit if it can make money from the deal. From Software will port not one but the three Dark Souls main titles including the DLC if the deal pushes through. It is important to note that these rumors have not been confirmed by either party.

The increasing number of Nintendo Switch game titles would definitely please interested buyers of the upcoming game platform. So far, the confirmed list also includes Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario title and unnamed Pokemon title. Bethesda's Skyrim is also rumored to be included in the Switch game list.
