It has recently been speculated that the "Guns n' Roses" group are reuniting with the great influence of money. However, these rumors were debunked by the band's guitarist himself, Richard Fortus.
"Guns N' Roses" Reunion To Start On 2017; Band Debunked Rumors On Reunion Led By Money
During an interview held with "Guns n Roses" guitarist, Richard Fortus in a radio station, he addressed the rumors about the band reuniting for the sake of money. The lead singer of the band, Axl Rose is reuniting with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan along with Richard. When asked about the concerns of money for the reunion, Richard said that it had nothing to do with it; otherwise the reunion would have happened a long time ago. He hinted out that there have been offers of a reunion long ago but haven't decided to do so until now.
Each of the members of the band have reportedly have their own reasons for taking the money that was offered for them to do a reunion. Another of which was Axl's conflict with Slash. It was also asked whether or not the former has finally swallowed his pride and decided it was time to reunite for the sake of it. However, Richard said that it was definitely not the case. He said that both Axl and Slash talked it out privately and both decided to put all their issues behind them.
The Members Of The Band Still Hangout Together Just Like Old Times; New Music Coming Soon?
He also revealed that the band members have been communicating with one another prior to the reunion. After concerts, they also all come together to hang out like it was just like the old times. Richard said that the "Guns n' Roses" reunion was definitely for the fans and of course for the experience itself. There were no other factors that led the band to come together once more. They have announced more than 30 stadium shows to happen beginning on May 2017 at Dublin's Slane Castle. There could even be new music coming their way, as hinted out by Richard himself.
