"Fifty Shades Darker" stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are back to showing off their sizzling chemistry in the upcoming film's latest trailer. The trailer for the much anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel is now out with a sexier theme and a more thrilling, eerie twist.
Now that director James Foley has become a part of the franchise, E.L. James fanatics can expect a deeper dive into the story. "Fifty Shades Darker" features a more mature Anastasia Steele played by Johnson and a pursuing Christian Grey played by Dornan.
In the newly released trailer, Grey uttered, "I'm not very good at this," referring to the idea of trying again with Steele. The teaser shows a more mature and open relationship between the love-struck duo. And being the signature for the movie franchise itself, lustful and sexual encounters are still something for fans to look forward to.
With Grey's gentle yet dominating request to "take it off," the whole romantic and sexually adventurous romance from the first instalment continues. The sequel though does not solely revolve around the couple's love affair as it shows the comeback of characters from Grey's past.
The explosive helicopter crash implies something bigger than what "Fifty Shades of Grey" gave the audience in 2015. Kim Basinger's appearance with her line, "Do you think you are the first one who just tried to save him?" connects to the mysterious girl who keeps appearing and disappearing in a flash.
The big question is, will Grey and Steele be able to keep their love this time? What lies ahead their quest for a better shot at an extraordinary love is something to watch out for.
With a more promising storyline, the Foley-directed, E.L. James second adaptation "Fifty Shades Darker" will be out on Valentine's Day 2017. Other stars to look out for include Basinger, Eric Johnson and Bella Heathcote. Also, former cast members to reprise their roles will be Marcia Gay Harden, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini.
