Dota 2 7.00 Update: Monkey King, The New Hero
After months of teasing, Valve has unveiled the new Dota 2 hero today - Monkey King. Monkey King is a melee core hero specializing in escape and control in the game. Abilities that comes in with this new and original Dota 2 hero includes swinging its hoop bar into the ground similar to Earthshaker's fissure, ability to jump on top of the trees having a high ground vision into the area, and shapeshifting into a various objects like in-game items, runes, trees and even a courier. Dota 2 7.00 Update: New Gameplay
Seems like Valve overhauled the entire Dota system with this 7.00 update. The game now showcases new gameplay features which include this so-called Hero Talent Tree where players gain special bonuses at levels 10/15/20/25. To understand this fully, read this guide in the Dota 2 page.
Dota 2 7.00 Update: Brand New Interface And Pre-Game System
The brand new interface of the game showcases enhanced visibility and optimized option settings. The HUD has a modern look as well as the shop menu. Valve also made changes in the pre-game system. Aside from the aforementioned changes, Valve also remodeled three heroes in this update namely Slardar, Viper, and Enigma.
