‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Episode 9 Delayed; Chandler Riggs To Finally Leave The Show After Season 8?

Following the thrilling mid-season finale of “The Walking Dead” about a terrifying revenge of Rosita for Abraham’s death, the strong followers of the series can only expect a release of "The Walking Dead" season 7, episode 9 on Dec. 18. But this air date is not coming to fruition.

Recent news said that AMC network is yet to announce the official air date of the latest episode of "The Walking Dead" and rumors have it that the popular thriller show will return to the small screens on Feb. 12, 2017.

The showrunners nor the cast had discussed reasons as to why a big delay is likely to happen.

Meanwhile, when the eight installment of the series hits its explosive premiere, one major character is believed to exit the program.

Chandler Riggs, who incredibly played the role of Carl Grimes in the zombie apocalypse is widely speculated to leave the show. The rumor was fueled by Riggs' father’s post on Facebook. William posted an image of them two, with an intriguing caption that says: "7-year contract completed! Grateful to AMC, Cast & Crew, TWD fan base and especially Chandler for always being 100% dedicated."

With Chandler’s pending confirmation on the said departure, the young actor is said to renew his contract as he can juggle studying and filming at the same time. A report cited that he wants to pursue his studies and to still continue his career in the hit show but unsure if his university professors will be amenable with the set-up.

Meanwhile, the strong followers of “The Walking Dead” should watch out in the forthcoming episodes the fateful turn of events as each chapter reveals horrible deaths and big surprises.

Will Rosita’s fierce retaliation turn out successful? Will Chandler survive the challenges?
