5 Most Disappointing Games In 2016

The best games have elicited positive emotions deep in our hearts. However, there are also those which are very disappointing you just want to pull your hair out of frustration. Here are 5 of the most disappointing games in 2016.

No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky filled with hype that when it was released and came out as a disappointment, a legal suit followed. Aside from being one of the 5 most disappointing games in 2016, No Man's Sky has become the poster child of hype without substance.

Super Mario Maker 3DS

Super Mario Maker on the Wii U was a hit because it allows players to create their own level, share them online with the community, and play with another person's created level. With the online sharing feature gone in 3DS, that lost all the appeal of the game making it look like another Mario game.

Battleborn

The team that gave us Borderlands must be in a hurry that it ruined the whole game. Instead, the follow-up franchise had a lousy storyline, a forgettable cast of forgettable characters, and no fun at all. It's a shame that success will just be followed by a failure.

Mighty No. 9

Touted as the spiritual successor of Mega Man, it failed to captivate the audience the way Mega Man did. It might look similar to the classic platformer but all it gave people was a series of controversies and a great amount of delay in the development.

ReCore

When ReCore made its debut, it looked promising because it seemed to present a lot of solid potential that will make it a real good game. However, the developers seemed to miss it all together as well because the execution is anything but. When you play the game, it has the feeling as if all the dots have never really connected. And that's what makes it one of the 5 most disappointing games in 2016.
