Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date Closer Than We Thought?

With the entire tech world looking toward the unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Thursday, lest we forget: the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is soon on its way, too.

It actually seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may be coming sooner than previously thought.

"Though there are no clear indications of its immediate release date, there are clear indications of its imminent launch soon," NVO News says.

Since it's clear that users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 love the device and aren't about to change over to a competing manufacturer or, possibly, even another Samsung product, this would be the time to hit the market hard with yet another highly anticipated Samsung product.

Once the company unveils the Galaxy S4 at Thursday's event: BAM -- Then hit us with the Galaxy Note 3 release date? It just makes common business sense: Link one event's high anticipation to the next immediately afterward.

As NVO News points out, more and more phablets are coming out that have Full HD display (1920 × 1080) whereas the Galaxy Note 2 has an old-school HD Super AMOLED (1280 × 720).

"Given this very fact there are indications that Sammy is preparing to introduce a next generation phablet too that will come with fullHD display besides many other great features," NVO News says. "These rumors suggest that the Note 3 will come with 5.9-inch display. It might be an AMOLED display with FHD screen resolution and other cool features."

Though the Galaxy Note 2's 1.6 GHz quad-core processor is twice as fast as the iPhone 5's, it could still be greatly improved upon, considering the raw power newer processors are vamping these days.

"Reports suggest that Samsung might be using its new Exynos 5 Octa-core chipset inside a 2GHz or better ARM processor of the Note 3," NVO News says.

The report goes on to state that since the 8-core processor was unveiled at CES 2013, it may be "evident" that Samsung will be using it in what's next. This is followed by the hint that Samsung may be setting the Galaxy Note 3 date sooner due to the Note 2's camera, which at this point could use a jump to next-level status too. (Particularly with HTC One's 4MP Ultrapixel camera upping the ante on that front.)

What this all comes down to is the fact that the Galaxy S4 is about to be released and thus Samsung will be even hotter than it already is for a bit — a perfect time to mention another product coming soon — trade on the Note 2's popularity, tempered with its need to be updated by the Note 3.

Samsung should take advantage of all of these points and bump up the release of the Galaxy Note 3.

What do you think? Are you convinced? When do you think the Note 3 will be coming out, and are you looking forward to it as much as you are to the Galaxy S4? Let us know in the comments below.
