The second big patch for Battlefield 1 is already rolling but only for premium users first. The Battlefield 1 patch update is quite a list and one word to describe it is massive. Some of the features players should expect includes the aim assist changes, detailed changes in weapons and vehicles, as well as a spectator mode and a brand new map.
The Battlefield 1 patch update has given its aim assist feature a few tweaks. Once they downloaded the patch, players will discover that the aim assist will only be effective if the player actively gives aim input. With the new update, players can now also change the details of each individual aim.
There are also detailed vehicle changes, specifically, head glitching has been fixed. Head glitching happens when a player goes into third person view making it possible for them to shoot over objectives where their tank turrets can't go over. With the fix, both viewpoints can now have the same angle.
Moreover, the Landship tank now has the same HP as the Heavy tank. Most of all, the Landship tank now has the ability to spawn your teammates the same way the Heavy Tank does.
Aside from that, the update also has a fix that would solve the issue where a player suddenly spawns without being equipped with the proper vehicle. The fix will also prevent vehicles from spawning with the wrong equipment.
As for the weapon changes, one notable change is the tripwires. In the past, teammates make a mistake of destroying their own tripwires because they thought it was built by the enemy. Now, tripwires will have a pop-up icon which will indicate which team placed it there.
Another notable addition is the custom mode called the Standard Issue Rifle mode which is set to go live on Dec. 13. The big patch will start rolling out to non-premium players on Dec. 20.
