The NBA trade rumors that center around Paul George is not about to diminish. Even in social media, his name is being mentioned. George is not a stranger to this situation as his name has been passed around in connection with these rumors in the past couple of years. This is amidst the fact that the Indiana Pacers have been struggling this season and it seems they are no longer in contention in the playoffs.
Is This The Right Time For The Pacers To Change Direction?
But the team has made good grounds lately. Their win over the Hornets last Monday, Dec. 12, can help them overtake the Atlanta Hawks as the No. 8 seed. The Pacers were the No. 7 seed last season coming into the NBA Playoffs. However, they were eliminated in a first-round series by the Toronto Raptors. This is probably one of the reasons why NBA trade rumors are saying that they are putting George on the trading block.
After losing that series, many analysts of the league suggested that it's the right time for the Indiana Pacers to consider trekking into a new direction. But the team did not trade George and went into the current season buoyed with new hope. And then there arose some NBA trade rumors that indicated George is being traded for a set of younger players.
Frustration Is Getting To John Wall
Meanwhile, the increasing frustration of John Wall with his team is seemingly opening up the probability of a Wizards - Heat exchange. The Miami Heat is apparently on the way of building up its team and would like to obtain the Wizards' All-Star point guard. The Wizards are not able to come up with some strategy that could win games.
In their game against the Orlando Magic, Wall was able to score 52 points, admittedly a career-high score. And yet the Wizards lost the game to the Magic. This prompted Wall to voice out his disappointment. He apparently believes they can't win games due to the lack of support from his teammates. Will this be the impetus that will make him look to the Heat for salvation?
