The Rainbow Six Siege update 5.2 goes live tomorrow. Ubisoft has already detailed what is in store for fans with a livestream yesterday.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Update 5.2 Buffs And Nerfs
Based on a summary from KingYayo on Reddit, operators, weapons and other items that will be nerfed or buffed with the Rainbow Six Siege update 5.2 include Tachanka, Blackbeard, Smoke, Fuze, Bandit and Glaz. Other items that will be buffed up are SMGs like Frost's FMG-9, M12 and UMP with less recoil. Shields will also become more resistant to explosives, though a figure was not given.
There will also be bug fixes and a lighting overhaul. However, these are only a part of what can be expected in the Rainbow Six Siege update 5.2. The full patch notes are yet to be released. This mid-season reinforcements patch is truly meant as an interstitial update leading into the start of season 2.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Season 2 And Year 2 Coming Soon
Meanwhile, Rainbow Six Siege season 2 is bound to come soon. Those who are multiplayer fans should consider playing Tom Clancy's title, which was nominated as the Best Multiplayer Game in The Game Awards 2016. There is still plenty of time to familiarize with the game before the next season starts, so it is best to try it out now while the game is still in the middle of season 1.
Fans may also purchase the Rainbow Six Siege Year 2 season pass now for $29.99. Apart from the operators and bonuses, the pass also includes a one-year VIP membership. This entitles the players to awesome VIP perks. Those who are interested should buy one before Feb. 7 to unlock the Obsidian weapon skin as a bonus.
Rainbow Six Siege is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
