More Pictures Of Samsung Galaxy S4 Emerges Online

Samsung is just on the verge of launching the Galaxy S4, and even more pictures of the smartphone have emerged online.

Leaked images of the Galaxy S4 have surfaced on the Chinese site IT168 and look exactly like the previously leaked video of the device. The leaked pictures show that the eight-core phone will measure 7.7 millimeters thick and weigh in at 138g, with a 4.99-inch 1080p display.

The description of the images also confirms that the device will have a 13-megapixel camera, which is a significant jump from the Galaxy S3's 8-megapixel snapper. As rumored, the processor is labeled as a 1.8GHz Exynos 5410. The CPU is said to be paired with a 533Mhz PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU, confirmed by Imagination, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage, which is expandable with a microSD card.

"AppleInsider points out that the GPU is mostly identical to what Apple is using in the iPhone 5 but running at a higher clock speed (533MHz compared to 350MHz), representing a significant shift for Samsung, away from ARM's Mali GPUs," reports The Verge.

If the leaked images are to be believed, then the Galaxy S4 will also have the speculated-upon eye tracking, as well as the S Pen.

The Galaxy S4 has become quite popular thanks to its predecessor, Galaxy S3, which was one of the best-selling Android handsets of 2012. Smartphone enthusiasts have high hopes for the Galaxy S4 and till now, the rumored specifications indicate that the Galaxy S4 will be a step ahead of its predecessor.

Samsung will also want to keep up with the expectations of the smartphone users if it deploys the best in the upcoming Galaxy S4.

All eyes are on the Samsung Unpacked event to be held Thursday 7 PM EDT in New York City, when the Korean company officially launches the Galaxy S4 and reveals the exact specifications and design of the handset.
