With SUVs focusing more and more on "Sport" rather than "Utility" aspect these days, finding the one that suits a growing family can be tough. Nissan however, tells a different story as the 2017 Pathfinder promises to be the perfect family SUV.
The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder's New Power
The previous Nissan Pathfinder already had a decent amount of strength with its 260 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. However, it needed to become stronger in order for it to be a more effective family hauler that is exactly what Nissan did with the new model.
According to report, the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder now draws 284 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque from an improved 3.5-liter direct injection V6 engine. In addition, Nissan also made improvements with the 2017 Pathfinder's Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that now simulates a natural gear shift feeling as reported.
SUV For The Family
Despite the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder being a seven-seat SUV, it is still best for a family with four members as reported. In general, families of four already have a lot of things to put in the vehicle whether in day to day activities or long road trips. Being a seven-seater SUV, it allows for the family to have enough cargo space for extra baggage and still leave enough room for the family to be comfortable during long rides.
2017 Pathfinder Features
The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder also has its fair share of features. Reports state that it has a new 8-inch touchscreen for the NissanConnect infotainment system along with title icons, pinch and swipe controls and other services for connectivity. Safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, emergency braking and 360-degree camera with moving object detection.
2017 Pathfinder Prices
The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder offers the perfect family SUV for a reasonable price. According to report, the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder is available in four trims. The price starts at $32,498 for the base and $48,398 for the top trim respectively.
