According to Movie News Guide, some were mad at what Ross had done to Elizabeth. People admitted that Ross should have never acted that way and remained civilized. But despite all the opinions of other people including Demelza, Ross decided to continue pursuing Elizabeth, even if he knows that the latter is getting married to George Warleggan.
It was remembered that during the past episodes, George already wanted to remove Ross from their life. He had made ways to get rid of the character, making him the greatest villain in the story. But will all that is happening, are we still seeing Ross to be the one we should care about in the story? Or does he need to change?

Many reports told that the character would not change this season. He would remain the character we all knew about. In an interview, EP Debbie Horsfield revealed that Ross would not learn from any mistakes that he had done before.
"Ross is older, but not necessary wiser, and his recklessness sometimes costs him and his loved ones, dear,"

This is despite the fact that Ross already apologized to Demelza for his past actions. Sources stated that we will still see Ross impulsive decisions and unplanned actions.
