Capcom has released the most-awaited PC version of the upcoming horror-survival game Resident Evil 7's Beginning Hour demo. It has been announced recently that the demo version finally arrives on PC via Steam. As recalled, the Beginning Hour demo has been under the PS4 timed-exclusive program for months while Xbox One owners only received the demo earlier this month.
According to the report from VG247, the PS4 version was updated regularly in order for players to discover more and more information regarding the game over the months. Luckily, both Xbox One and PC players will not share the same fate as PlayStation 4 owners will receive the updated version of the Beginning Hour demo. This means that players of both platforms will be able to play the game smoothly and will be given access to the two different kinds of endings of the game.
Based on the report, players are expected to walk their way through various P.T.-like secrets and they will receive an item for import to Resident Evil 7. Apparently, PlayStation 4 owners are not somehow affected on this privilege given by the two remaining slated platforms given the fact that they have experienced the demo version first-hand.
On the other hand, it seems like the PlayStation 4 VR owners will also receive their own demo versions of the game. However, Capcom already noted that it would be exclusive to PS VR headsets and VR headsets from PC will wait until the game's official launch next year. It might be a bit unfair to the other party but it would help minimize the casualties.
In order to download the Beginning Hour demo of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, just head over to Steam and download the trial.
Resident Evil 7 is set to be released on Jan 2017 for PC, PlayStation 4, PS VR and Xbox One.
