2018 Chevrolet Traverse Teases And Confirms Detroit Auto Show Debut

The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse is set to make its global debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show that will be taking place a few weeks from now. Prior to the global debut however, Chevrolet has decided to release a teaser image to build more hype and it appears to be working well.

The 2018 Traverse Teaser

The teaser for the 2018 Traverse only reveals a few things. The photo showed the 2018 Traverse in a dark room with very little amount of light. According to CNET, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will have new D-Optic headlights that have a natural daylight effect. One of these new pair of headlights was shown in the teaser image along with the taillight on the drivers' side

The Expected Interior

As the last in Chevrolet's lineup to undergo a makeover, the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse promises to come with a lot of new things. The changes are not limited on the exterior aspect as there are also changes in the interior of the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse. Motor Authority reported that the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will have a total of eight seats with a lot of legroom for the third row and a decent cargo space.

The Rivals Waiting

It appears that the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will be facing several rivals when it makes its debut next month. Among those that will be waiting when it arrives are the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot, Dodge Durango, Toyota Highlander and the CX-9 from Mazda. In addition, Atlas from Volkswagen will also be waiting along with something new from Subaru's lineup.

The Global Debut

Since the teaser does not reveal much for fans and enthusiasts to go on, they will simply have to wait for the 2017 Detroit Auto Show to see what the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse has to offer. It will also be the time where specs and other important details are likely to be revealed. Those that are interested will not have to wait long as the event kicks off on Jan. 9, 2017 as reported.
