Microsoft sets the tone at the very high end of the Windows 10 all-in-one desktop market with its exceptional expensive Surface Studio. As has broadly been the case with Microsoft's hardware efforts of delay, the company has left plenty of room for its original equipment manufacturer ally to create compelling Windows 10 hardware at a cheaper price.
The Acer C-Series All-in-one Specifications
A desktop machine that's meant to look great in any area of your home or workplace, it is Powered by sixth-generation Core i3 processors and equipped with a maximum of 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1TB HDD storage. With those specs, the Aspire C Series isn't just meant for more than casual gaming, viewing multimedia content, and a usual productivity work.
Acer has declared the released of its all-in-one desktop line, the Acer Aspire C Series, in the US. These all-in-one desktops sports ultra-slim bezels and measures only 0.31-inches in width. The All-in-one comes in two display sizes, 23.8 inches, and 21.5 inches, both of which utilize Full HD resolution.
Acer offers the models with the choice of Windows 10, the Linpus Simple Linux, and FreeDOS. Taking a cue from Microsoft's Surface Studio, the Aspire C Series offers an inclined chassis which can move from a 5- to a 20-degree angle allowing users to find the perfect working position.
The Acer C-Series All-in-one Features
Bluetooth 4.0 LE and 802.11ac Wi-Fi are the wireless options. In addition with the former specifically intended to reduce wire clutter for keyboard and mouse connectivity, the machines come with two USB 3.0 and two USB ports for wired accessories. Its 1MB HD webcam feature is joined with a single array microphone and comes with dual speakers round out the audiovisual capabilities.
Availability And Price
The Acer Aspire C-Series All-in-one will start at price from $450 to $700, offers a choice of Windows 10, Linux, or FreeDOS. A standard one-year warranty is also provided. Acer hasn't officially announced the shipping dates for the machines other than to suggest that they'd make great holiday gifts.
