RadioShack is clearing out its inventory to make room for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and that means customers can get their hands on Samsung Galaxy S3, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S at substantially discounted prices.
The sale is underway and will end April 4, CNET reported. The catch is you do have to sign a new two-year contract. However, a savings of $150 on a Galaxy S3 means you can get a smartphone that costs $199.99 for $49.99 with a new Sprint account.
The discount for the iPhones is slightly less. For the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, customers can save $50 on the smartphones with a new Sprint plan. The 16GB model of the iPhone 5 is priced at $199 while the 32GB and 64GB are priced at $299 and $399, respectively.
New customers have the option to be part of Sprint's 450, 900 or Unlimited plans, which range in price from $69.99 to $99.99 before taxes. Current Sprint customers can upgrade to the Galaxy S3 for $99.99 and maintain the free second-business-day shipping through FedEx and "Free Expert Support for the life of your device," according to RadioShack and Latinos Post.
The replacement device price, which features no contract changes, will see the Galaxy S3 price skyrocket to $599.99. No service plan is necessary with the $599.99 offer.
RadioShack offers the "Trade & Save" program, which allows buyers to trade in their old phones in exchange for cash toward new phones.
Other stores are likely to join RadioShack in offering deep discounts on both Galaxy S3 and iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, ahead of the S4 launch and the rumors that Apple will release iPhone 5S soon, CNET reports.
