HTC One Headed To Verizon Network?

Last month, when HTC announced its new HTC One Android smartphone, it mentioned the device would be available at three major carriers, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. There was no mention of Verizon getting the phone, which sparked questions among consumers. Verizon may actually get the HTC One after all, according to recent reports, which of course leads to more confusion.

Tweets earlier this month from the HTC USA official Twitter account confirmed that the HTC One would not be available on Verizon's network. One of those tweets was deleted, which suggests Verizon may, in fact, carry the highly anticipated HTC device.

According to All Things D, a tipster revealed that the HTC One will reach the Verizon network a month or two later than the other major carriers. It was reported that once Verizon completes its testing process, the high-end device will be available to its customers.

This information conflicts with the tweets posted by HTC USA earlier this month, "@spiff_p239 No, we're not bringing it to Verizon. If we hear differently we'll let you know", said @HTCUSA to an inquirer in one of the tweets.

As reported by Slashgear, the HTC USA twitter account deleted its response to another inquiry about the HTC One availability on Verizon. "@cizzlen The HTC One will not be available on the Verizon network, but have you seen the awesome, #DROIDDNA?" tweeted @HTCUSA.

There's no hard evidence to confirm or deny rumors about the appearance of the HTC One on Verizon's network at this time. With conflicting reports, it's a tough call to say whether Verizon will get the HTC One or not — until we hear an official announcement from HTC Corp. or Verizon Inc.
