Justin Timberlake Drops Album, Another Coming Soon

After years of anticipation, Justin Timberlake is back, bringing sexy with him once again.

On Tuesday, Timberlake’s latest album, “The 20/20 Experience,” was released, following the success of the singles “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors,” to the excitement of millions of fans worldwide.

Even more exciting is the revelation that there is more to come.

During an album release concert and television special that airs the same night as the release on the CW, Timberlake addressed rumors that this album is just his first this year, with another lined up for a November release.

“Let me clear a rumor up," Timberlake said during the special. "The news that this is only the first half of the album, that's true. That's all I'm gonna say!"

The 10-track album is full of epic ballads that combine his classic pop abilities with a darker, more mature side that promises to fit well with the tastes of the fans who have followed him over his 20-year career.

The single “Suit & Tie” was the first fans had heard, musically, from Timberlake since his 2006 album, FutureSex/LoveSounds. The five-minute comeback track offered a small taste of what was to come, with an appearance from hip hop mogul Jay-Z.

The second track, “Mirrors,” was more than eight minutes long, prompting some to compare the sprawling tale of destined lovers to Frank Ocean’s similarly long mini-opera “Pyramids,” from his smash 2012 debut "Channel Orange."

Little did the critics know that “Mirrors” would be more the norm. Of the 10 tracks on “The 20/20 Experience,” seven are more than seven minutes long, with one of the remaining three only a few seconds shy.

The album release is another in a series of recent successes for the singer, following his near-universally applauded stint as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 9, which earned better ratings than the show had seen in over a year.
