The Pokemon Sun & Moon official Pokedex and guide is expected to come out sometime on February 2017. Here are the details we know so far about these upcoming Alola Region contents.

The Official Description:

Nintendo officially described it as the "Alola Region Pokedex and Postgame Adventure Guide". The Pokedex is supposed to include all information about the Pokemon in the Alola region. These will also include all their abilities, moves, where are they located, current statistics and their evolved states. Other info will also include all kinds of Berries, items and TM (Technical Machines) as well as Z-Crystals.

The Pokemon Sun & Moon adventure does not end in finishing the main story. There are a lot of adventures that can be undertaken and areas to explore. This guide will surely come in handy especially with regards to the Ultra Beasts.

This upcoming Alola Pokedex and Guide are expected to be release next year. It's currently available for pre-order in two editions, standard and collector's on Amazon.

Other Alternatives

Based on the official description, it seems many of the details in this Alola Region Pokedex is available online. Serebii is one of the major sources of information for the Pokemon Sun and Moon 3DS games. The site basically most of the contents covered by the Pokedex and guide. Not only that, it also covers other Pokemon games including mobile game Pokemon GO.

Bulbapedia is another site where Pokemon Sun & Moon players go for information. The details it holds are almost similar to Serebii. Nintendo may find it difficult to sell its Alola region guide if it does not offer something different. The online guides were started as soon as the 3DS game was released and continuously updated. Hopefully, the official Pokemon Sun & Moon Alola guide may contain something new for the players. More information about this upcoming Pokedex will be made clear once it comes out.
