The 2017 Nissan Altima has two options for its powertrain. The first is the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 182 horsepower paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The other engine is a V6 that can crank out 270 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Similar to the other engine, this is also matched with a CVT with the difference of the latter having paddle shifters.
