LG Electronics plans to release its next flagship 'G6' smartphone a month earlier than usual in order to get an advantage over its rivals. An official statement at the Mobile World Congress would mean the G6 could be up for sale in a few markets starting next year probably in March, with wider availability slated for April. LG has traditionally been a bit slow in rolling out its devices across the globe.
LG G6 Release Date
The company is planning to release the G6 at the end of February or early March. The previous G5 model was also released on the 31st of March. The company is pushing forward the release date of G6 in order to increase the sales volume of the new device.
LG smartphone business has been losing for the last 6 quarters and the weak sales of the G5 model have made things worse since 2015. LG will also give up the modular design for the G6 device and will focus mainly on providing functions such as mobile payment, wireless charging, and also waterproof features.

Rumors rounding up that the upcoming LG G6 will be powered by Snapdragon Qualcomm Octa-core 3.0 GHz processor. In addition, LG G6 will run the latest Android Nougat. This could be the best and fastest processors in LG G-series model. LG G6 is also believed to have 64 or 128GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 128 GB.
