The Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to be one of the most exciting flagships that customers could buy next year, given the fact that this represents a huge bet from the Chinese smartphone maker in order to increase its power and beat its main competitor Huawei. Although one of the most uncertain details about this mobile device was its release, new rumors suggest that it could be launched sooner than expected.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Could Be Release On Valentine´s Day
According to Racing Junky, a Weibo user codenamed KJuma leaked an image that reveals what looks like the official release date of the Xiaomi Mi 6, suggesting that this event could be on Valentine´s Day, February 14. Of course, this information doesn't come from Xiaomi´s official page so its veracity is not completely verified.
Nevertheless, many believe that if the Xiaomi Mi 6 is released on this date, it would be a clever move from the Chinese company, to the point in which it could even determine the phone´s success in the market next year. Naturally, this would be extremely important for Xiaomi, given the fact that it will be competing in Asia against Huawei´s and Apple and Samsung´s smartphones.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Might Be Launched In Three Variants
As reported by BGR, Weibo user KJuma also revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be launched in three variants dubbed as Mi 6S, Mi 6E and Mi 6P. Apparently, the Mi 6S will be powered by Qualcomm´s Snapdragon SoC while the Mi 6P could be powered by Xiaomi´s own Pinecone SoC. Finally, the leak suggests that the Mi 6E might have a MediaTeK´s HelioSoC processor or even an Exynos chipset.
As reported in a previous article, the Xiaomi Mi 6 might run Android 7.1 Nougat or Android 7.0 Nougat update with the MIUI 0 operating system above. Also, this smartphone could support USB Type-C and boast up to 6GB of RAM. Although it´s too soon to make predictions, this mobile device promises to be one of the most incredible revelations in 2017.
