These 3 NBA 2K17 Badges Are A Must-Have In The Game

Among the nicest things 2K Games did to this year's NBA 2K17 is the badge system. First and foremost, it adds interest to the game's overall structure in terms of attribute. Second, and more importantly, it gives players a motive to work hard. Why? That's because it somehow works as an incentive-like system.

Without a doubt, there's already a good number of badges in the game. (Interested players can check all of them here and learn how to get them). However, thanks to Forbes, we get to see yet another must-have additions to the title. The publication offers a total of 3 new badges, with each offering a nice set-up for players to enjoy. Without further ado, below they are!

The Triple Doubler Badge

Remember that moment Russell Westbrook made history (14 Triple-Doubles) during the Oklahoma City Thunder's Christmas match against the Minnesota Timberwolves? With that said, this badge here could be an excellent thing for NBA 2K17 players to earn. The badge could give a player's teammates at least five percent (or so) boost in their respective attributes. This should happen for the remainder of the matchup, of course. After all, most triple-double shenanigans happen late in the fourth quarter of a game. So, in a sense, the boost wouldn't take that long. Its longevity, however, is enough to make a significant impact to the game as a whole.

The Screen Runner Badge

NBA 2K17 already has the Pick-And-Roll Maestro, and almost all players know exactly how to acquire it. However, the game doesn't offer something whenever players get to free themselves from a screen. Here, we can best exemplify Kyle Korver, who's an expert when it comes to running through various screens. Whenever players does this, they should be given a boost whenever they're successful. Of course, this should only happen whenever they don't have the ball with them yet. Let's say you can earn this badge when you're able to knockdown at least 10 shots in the aforesaid situation. Not really that hard, right?

The Hustle Man Badge

I personally like to see this badge in the game soon. One is for the main reason that there are already lots of hustle animations found in the game. For instance, the very popular is whenever players dive to the floor to get and/or save the loose ball. Or perhaps, whenever they try to go for a block against an opponent. You see, plays like this can ignite a time in seconds -- most especially in real life. So yeah, why not add this to the game? This could somehow put a real-life element in the game, making it a little bit more interesting than before. If players are able to save a loose ball from going out of bounds, for example, they should be able to boost their team for the rest of the period. Or at least, 2K Games can resort to giving boost in a short period of time (whichever is applicable). Probably performing at least five saves should be enough to grant players this badge.

What are your thoughts on the listed NBA 2K17 badges? Any other you can think of? Do you agree that these should be added to the game? Let us know what you're thinking at the comment section below!
