2017 is coming in and in the tech world this means one thing - new smartphones are coming in! This may also mean having to feel betrayed if you just bought a new phone recently. Nevertheless, it's interesting to see smartphone companies release something new, high-tech and groundbreaking this coming 2017. Hopefully, though, they don't increase the prices so much so that people can still afford or can still try to afford these upcoming phones. Here are some of the most anticipated 2017 smartphones that have been mentioned in the rumor mill:
Apple iPhone 8
This phone is the supposed anniversary iPhone of Apple as the company hit its tenth iPhone release. As per the rumors, this phone will have a curved screen and an all-glass surface. It was said that Apple will be ditching the home button and introduce wireless charging in their next iPhone(s).
Samsung Galaxy S8
The Galaxy S8 could be launched early next year and this phone is expected to be a very improved version of its predecessors. It was said that Samsung will be introducing its own AI assistant in their S8 release. Rumor also has it that the Galaxy S8 will be released in two variants. However, unlike past releases, the S8 models won't be differentiated by their display shapes. It was said that both S8 models will have curved screens, ditching the flat-screen model, and have the two variants simply differ in display sizes. As for the features, GSM Arena says the S8 could have a dual 12 MP primary camera, an iris scanner and wireless charging support.
Apple iPhone 7S and 7S Plus
As per the more recent rumors, Apple won't only be releasing an anniversary iPhone, they are also releasing regular successors to their 2016 iPhones. Currently dubbed by tech predictors as the iPhone 7S and 7S Plus, these phones are expected to come with a faster A11 processor. These are also rumored to come with a red color variant.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
The Note 8 is probably the most anticipated release of 2017. With the Galaxy Note 7 being removed from the market, it's safe to assume that Note fans are awaiting Note 8's release. We can't underestimate how amazing the Note 7 is considering the number of people who actually rebelled from Samsung and kept their devices despite the recall. The company has to release a bricking update to push people to return their devices.

The OnePlus 4 is once again expected to be a flagship killing device considering the reputation its company has established in the market. OnePlus has always been known for its high-powered and low-budget smartphones. This is why the OnePlus 4 is also a much anticipated 2017 release. If the company was able to release a phone with 6 GB RAM and top notch CPU for just about $399, fans can't wait to see what they have in store for 2017. Tech Radar says this phone could be launched mid-2017.
