NES Classic Edition Update: Pros and Cons Of Buying One

Gaming consoles, undeniably come and go. As time goes on, technology advances and develops, and eventually, some consoles don't cope with the times, and eventually, and inevitably, goes obsolete. There just are some games, however, that just can't be forgotten.

One of these games is the NES Classic Edition. Game console giant Nintendo has decided to bring it back, and here's a look at some of its pros and cons, according to polygon.com.

Pros:

Another great positive side includes the resume and suspend feature which gives it a more modern feel. The game qualities are over-all excellent and are highly improved from that of Nintendo Wii U.

There are also different display modes that players could choose from, and the clearer, crisper pixel rating allows players users to fit a lot of television screens. Lastly, it has much more power than the 8-bit NES with a quad-core chipset, which could be found in other modern day gadgets as well, together with an HDMI outputting and intensive filters.

Cons: Despite this possibility, some of the major downsides of the NES revival is the ultra-short wires which are not ideal for a modern-day living room, as a mere 30 inches pales in comparison with other living room wires. According to Tech Radar, the wire of the original wires is about three times as long at 91.5 inches. There are third party solutions to fix other flaws that the NES is believed to have.
