Galaxy Tab 3 Rumor Roundup: Resolution, Processor, Reveal Date And More

Samsung is set to bring consumers a whole new line of products this year and are on a roll with the product releases. We are now hearing rumors about an upcoming addition to Samsung's Galaxy Tab series, the Galaxy Tab 3. Last week, the Korean mobile giant announced that its Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet will be released for sale on the Australian market in April.

Rumors have said that Samsung is now making preparations for the next line of tablet devices, readying the Galaxy Tab 3 for later this year. Notification and testing leaks reveals some information about the upcoming tablets and so far, we have somewhat of an idea of what to expect.

Screeen/Resolution Sizes:

According to Notebook Italia, the Galaxy Tab 3 will come in three sizes and there will be three model types for each size, for a total of nine variants. There will be a Galaxy Tab 3's in 7-inch tablet, 10.1-inch and also a slightly upgraded 10.1-inch called the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, which will have a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The resoliton on the 7-inch is reported to be 1280 x 600 pixels. All three tabs will come in Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi/3G and Wi-Fi/3G/4G LTE versions.

Processor:

According to Phone Arena, leaked Bluetooth certification info, the Galaxy tab 10-inch will have a 1.7 GHz dual-core Exynos 5 processor. This is the same processor used on the Google Nexus 10 and the Samsung Chromebook.

Reveal Date:

Samsung's Galaxy Tab 3 may be announced over the summer at IFA in Berlin along with the Galaxy Note 3. As reported by Sammobile, an insider spilled information that Samsung would unveil both its Galaxy Tab 3 lineup and its Galaxy Note 3 "phablet" in September at IFA.
