The holiday surprises of Supercell haven't stopped yet as the developer just released the latest addition to the Clash of Clan's village defense. In a recent tweet, the game revealed the Freeze Trap as its second surprise for this winter event.
Clash Of Clans Unveils Freeze Trap
Latest Clash of Clans update last Tuesday, Dec. 27 unveiled the Freeze Trap via Twitter. The new defense is the second gift in the Clashmas winter event of the strategy game. The clip that came along with the tweet revealed that the Freeze Trap will be available until Jan. 5, 2017. The tweet reads: "Stop attackers in their attacks with the Freeze Trap!"
However, it remains uncertain whether or not Supercell will make the new defense a mainstay. As far as players are concerned, many have expressed in response to the tweet that they would want the Freeze Trap to stay for good. One player with handle @5Dollars_ even responded in sarcasm to Supercell's so-called gift saying, "I didn't know I had to return presents on January 5th. These aren't presents."

Clash Of Clans Clashmas Gift 3: Ice Wizard
It hasn't been totally revealed that the third gift for the Clashmas event is the Ice Wizard but clues say so. Ice Wizards will be the new additions to a player's army and from the looks of it, they function like the Wizards only that it hurls ice that can freeze the attacking enemies. Even so, there hasn't been confirmation if the Ice Wizards will also be made a mainstay in Clash of Clans.
Last Dec. 22, the first gift was unwrapped with Santa's Surprise inside. It is a recurring content from 2013's Christmas event. Santa's Surprise is a seasonal spell that can be brewed for 19,000 elixir and inflicts double the damage of a Lightning Spell.
