GameStop and the Nintendo World Store in New York have the NES Classic Edition back in stock.
Nintendo Store
This morning, Nintendo announced that the hard-to-find mini NES console is available at the Nintendo Store in New York City. The announcement was made through Twitter.
The stock started selling at 9 in the morning and to make sure more people get a chance to relive their childhood gaming days, the Nintendo World Store will only sell one unit per customer.
GameStop
GameStop got hold of four units and is selling them at prices ranging from $80 to $110. While the units cost more than the normal retail price, they are still far cheaper how it's selling on eBay.
What's good about GameStop's offers is that they come in bundles.
The Nintendo NES Classic Edition with Miniboss Wireless Controller Bundle is worth $79.99 while the Nintendo NES Classic Edition Bundle with console Backpack and Extension Cable sells for $109.99.
Unfortunately, they may be long gone by the time readers reach the end of this article. Of course, giving up altogether is not an option.
Looking for a mini-NES
For those still holding on to hope, a little diligence and perseverance is necessary. Check for its availability over at NowInStock. Once stocks appear, call the stores immediately to determine the quantity they have, if they're available online or only in the stores, the time they will be made available, and if they will be handing out numbers prior to opening the store. This will allow customers to determine their plan of attack.
It is also advisable to subscribe to the websites of the retail stores and turn the notifications on. This way, fans will know immediately when the stores restock.
Update:
At exactly 9:50 a.m. this morning, all the NES Classic Edition Bundles at GameStop have been sold.
