Smite Update: Datamine Revealed Celtic Event; New Content Hinted

Hi-Rez Studios are still working hard in developing and adding new contents for their free-to-play MOBA, Smite, as the year ends. The company has prepared several clues regarding the future additions for the title in the upcoming years. Based on the report, an interesting tweet coming from the Smite/Paladins community has been leaked online, where some predicted that it serves as a teaser for Smite's future content.

Accordong to the report from Attack of the Fanboy, Hi-Rez Studios executive producer Chris Larson, also known as HiRezChris, is responsible for the mysterious tweet. The tweet highlights a new skin to one of the gods known as Terra. As seen on the tweet, Terra has a rather elegant new skin that closely similar to Celtic Designs

Based on the report, fans should be expecting the same scenario for the game next year if Hi-Rez remains true to their successful path this 2016, which started off with adding gods from the Japanese pantheon such as Amaterasu. Prior to the addition, the game hosted an event which celebrates the new pantheon resulting to some gods such as Ymir receiving Japanese-inspired skins.

Meanwhile, the people over at SmiteDatamining has discovered several information regarding what the upcoming Celtic Event can bring to the table. The datamines revealed some in-game additions such as Frame, Music Theme, Pedestal, Ares Skin, Artemis Skin, Ra Skin, Raijin Skin, Skadi Skin, Terra Skin and Thor Skin. In addition, it was expected that the said event will arrive somewhere around January.

However, it is worth noting that the gods mentioned above might not receive their respective skins when the event will be launched, instead they will only appear as part of the game's future updates. Additionally, the Celtic Event will feature several quests with corresponding bonuses for their players to complete. However, these gathered information are still raw and might change until Hi-Rez issues confirmation.

Moreover, fans are highly anticipating this year's Hi-Rez Expo event which is expected to dot all these rumors regarding the game's future updates. Hi-Rez Expo will start to kick off this upcoming Jan. 5 and will end on Jan. 8.
