Here, you take the role of Rise to protect GameEarth from the Nexgen using your gun Shine. The game will be released on January 13, 2017 and is already available for pre-order.
The Wild Eight is a multiplayer survival game set in the Alaskan wilderness. Here, you can cooperate with friends or other online players to survive the unforgiving cold surroundings by hunting, crafting, and exploring. There's no specific date of release yet but according to EightPoints, its developer, it will be released within the first quarter of 2017.
Verdun has a Battlefield 1 feel to it. That's because it was also set during the First World War and based on the Battle of Verdun in France. In fact, it was released first than Battlefield 1 in 2015 but only for PC. This is a good alternative to Battlefield 1.
Coming from the same team that gave you Gone Home, Tacoma is another sci-fi game that is narrative-driven. There's not much about the game except that it is set in a place called Lunar Transfer Station which is 200,000 miles away from Earth.
Cuphead is another run and gun game brought to you by the Canadian duo which formed Studio MHDR. Set for release either the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2017. The game allows you to collect new weapons and abilities to take down evil bosses.

Crackdown 3 is the third installment of the popular open-world action-adventure game where you are an Agent with superpowers once again. It both has a single and multiplayer mode where you can destroy almost everything.
