Amazon is currently offering the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for $99 with a new two-year contract. This is a considerable savings over the $299 for which Sprint sells the phablet in its retail stores and online store.
Samsung has already announced that Samsung Galaxy S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2 owners would be receiving some of the new software and features found on its just-announced Galaxy S4 to the Galaxy Note 2, so you're guaranteed even more cool software in the near future.
The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean but is upgradable out of the box to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Note 2 is also upgradable to Samsung's Premium Suite Upgrade. The upgrade adds even more unique and cool features to the Galaxy Note 2. Some of its features include multi-window functionality (enabling users to separate their screens into two windows to use two apps at once), a new customizable notifications panel, smart rotation and new NFC and reader features.
Other features of the suite include contextual menus that automatically adjust based on a user's previous and most frequent actions. Users can also have the ability to set up a music program to launch immediately when a user plugs in headphones. New tagging features are in-the-camera application and an optional notifications ticker that is available from the lock screen. It's these kinds of Samsung-specific features that continue to make the Galaxy family of smartphones the most popular in the world.
If you've been thinking about trying out a phablet, the Galaxy Note 2 is still considered to be the best phablet on the market. Amazon is offering the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for $99 when signing a new two-year contract. Amazon has the smartphone in stock and will ship it within 24 hours.
