NBA 2K17 Update: After Dark Event Is Still On-going; Double Rep Weekend Now On Its Last Day

After it was being announced in the later weeks, it looks like 2K Sports has finally launched their Double Rep Weekend for the biggest sport game in the generation, NBA 2K17, last Dec. 30. Meanwhile, the bonus event was being tweeted back from NBA 2K17's official Twitter account stating that the double rep weekend will run until the 26th. However, it seems like it is a mistake on their part.

According to the report from The BitBag, the Double Rep Weekend took place during Thanksgiving and at the same time the first Park After Dark event also happened, where it features Snoop Dog as the DJ. On the other hand, the second Park After Dark Event officially started last Dec. 30 at 8PM PST. This time Future will drop the beat for the whole duration of the event.

Based on the gathered information, the Double Rep Weekend will only last for four days and is expected to have its final day today. As a result, players are highly recommended to make the most out of the event until the clock hits zero.

For those who are uninitiated, Double Rep Weekend will boost your reputation in MyPark that will grant you access to the new contents for your MyPlayer. In addition, increasing the Rep levels will also grant some VC rewards and achieving Legend ranking will actually give you an astounding VC reward of 500,000.

Meanwhile, the second Park After Dark Event is still on-going. Enjoy some good music while balling with other players present in MyPark. Additionally, it will give players some limited edition items which are only purchasable during the event.

On the other hand, players are hoping that the second event will turn out well compared to the first where they had experienced multiple problems such as bugs, awful lags and other issues that dogged the event.

NBA 2K17 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
