Even in Overwatch, players need to have a good amount of luck. Not entirely for winning matches, but simply in acquiring a couple of good stuff. When talking about the latter, it basically refers to the in-game loot boxes. Well, it seems a player just proved how luck can turn the tide of times.
The arrival of the Winter Wonderland event in Overwatch is simply a nod to the holiday season. Along with its introduction, Blizzard gave fans loot boxes as a form of gifts or rewards. Also, these boxes can be acquired whenever players decide to join any of the seasonal arcade modes. These are also given whenever players when every three games.
Now, the coolest thing about these Overwatch boxes are the items they contain. These offer a bunch of cosmetic shenanigans for the heroes. These includes the likes of voice lines, victory poses, sprays and, more importantly, skins. As expected from the studio, the event also introduced a couple of holiday-themed skins in celebration of the Yuletide season.
Unfortunately, despite the number of boxes obtained, most Overwatch players aren't just so lucky. Heck, some were even claiming about the amount of duplicates they've received. But hey, a Reddit user by the name of BubbleNine, seems to be on a different trail. Why? That's because this player was able to acquire a good set of items after unlocking the loot boxes.
Believe it or not, the aforementioned Overwatch was so lucky he was able to receive at least three legendary items. And not just that, an epic item also came. There are also two seasonal stuff for both Torbjorn and Mei. The most interesting part is that he got this in one single sitting.
It should be noted that the ongoing Overwatch event is about to end. So, it's best for players to take maximum advantage of it. The next plausible event is deemed to commemorate the Chinese New Year. Blizzard, however, has yet to comment about it.
