Theresa DiMasi, the magazine's editor in chief, stated that when people struggle with weight or living healthier, having clear-cut intentions helps with achieving the goal of losing weight, DiMasi told ABC News.
Oprah still eats tacos and pastas which she loves. Being on Weight Watchers does not make her feel deprived. Oprah stated that she is striving to take at least 10,000 steps a day as a form of exercise.

She further stated that it is a way of eating and a way of living that is so freeing. Weight Watchers' shares have seen a jump of up to 17 percent after Oprah Winfrey's announcement this week as reported by CNN.
