This is the moment that fans from Team Liquid have all been waiting for, ever since the organization's debacle during the Boston Major qualifiers, it is the official change of its roster and the acquisition of its longtime stand-in, GH.God.
Team Liquid Announces Acquisition of GH.God
Today, Team Liquid finally signed up its long time stand-in, GH.God and dropped Bulba for its 4/5 position support. On their official Twitter page, the organization officially announced that Team Liquid will part ways with BuLba and welcomes GH to complete its final roster for the upcoming Kiev Major 2017.
Success As A Team
During the time where GH was a stand in, the team had seen stellar results with the latest being the crowned champions in DreamLeague Season 6. Many fans of Team Liquid urged the organization to sign up GH but for weeks, the organization was reticent over the matter.
It was not until today that Liquid had finally decided to acquire their 9k support player into their team to finally make their way towards the upcoming Kiev Major which is the last Valve-hosted Major event before TI7.
Meanwhile, BuLba was announced to have joined a newly established team founded by DeMoN, Team Onyx alongside DuBu (from MVP Phoenix), Mason (former carry of EG) and one unnamed player. Rumor has it that Abed, the Filipino mid laner who recently announced his departure from Execration is expected to join the team. It is still unconfirmed however as there are numerous rumors surrounding his departure.
Teams are currently finalizing their rosters as the Regional Qualifiers for Kiev Majors is expected to commence any time soon. For more info about the upcoming Major, check out our updated sheet here.
