Is It Time For Pokemon GO To Allow Players To Switch Teams?

Even in Pokemon GO, players will have to face some rough decision makings. This includes the part in which they have to decide which team to join (i.e. Team Valor, Team Mystic and Team Instinct). As of this writing, there's no knowing which team is better than the others. Well, not unless if it's going to be decided via voting (poll). Regardless, one of the many things trainers have in mind is the ability to switch teams in the long run. Should Niantic allow this in the future? If so, how is it going to affect the game?

As mentioned, the best way to find out which team in Pokemon GO is the best is through polls. Of course, it doesn't necessarily mean that whichever comes on top is the greatest already. Nonetheless, it's still fun to go through with such process. Going back to polls, so far, the closest one to reach the top is Team Mystic, as reported by Otakukart.

It's no question that choosing a specific team in Pokemon GO will determine one's luck in the game. Not necessarily. However, it still presents a couple of benefits. For instance, a certain team may offer a community that's focused in helping members. Or perhaps, they can come up with gatherings or events, all exclusive for that specific team.

There are talks within the community that Pokemon GO might just allow team switches in the long run. After all, the idea of doing so is quite interesting. This is most especially if a player is located in a place surrounded by a certain team. It might be a good idea to instead join it (if in case he/she has already picked one in the earlier part of the game).

Switching will also allow Pokemon GO players to be more spontaneous with their environment. If a place is packed with Team Valor members, joining it would mean more help and tips. But of course, this is a matter only time can tell. Niantic only has the power to do so.

What are your thoughts on team switching in Pokemon GO? Do you think it's a good idea to have? Which team are you currently in? Be sure to share us what you're thinking at the comment section below!
