Just a couple of weeks ago, Niantic did a major change to Pokemon GO. This is by way of increasing the game's speed limit, giving players enough window in their journey. However, this seemed to have been tweaked recently. The studio is believed to have decreased it once again. Also, there are new reports about the release date of the highly anticipated Legendary Birds.
According to Otakukart, the speed limit of Pokemon GO -- though no official announcement from Niantic -- seemed to have been lowered. This is after several players reported its decrease at around 25 mph. There are also other trainers who suggest a figure at 20 mph. Of course, this will affect the way players continue to play the hit mobile game.
It's worth noting that the speed cap in Pokemon GO was implemented for the purpose of preventing accidents -- be it minor or major. In the past, just a few weeks after the release of the game, tons of accidents were reported. Most of these were due to players using the likes of cars to play the game.
While Niantic's goal is completely understandable, most Pokemon GO fans weren't happy. Players suggest that it should somehow be increased. And yes, this was something the studio did in early December. But today, the limit is once again tweaked.
In related Pokemon GO news, Legendary Birds are still among the creatures players have been hoping to see. Last year, it was believed to be released sometime in the existence of the two Holiday events. So far, they're yet to be seen.
The most talked about release window for the aforementioned Pokemon GO creatures to arrive is sometime in Spring. It actually makes sense, as the season is known for birds being around. Several reports also state that Niantic isn't keen to releasing these species in an event. Though there are no confirmations or whatsoever, players can expect these Pokemon this year.
