Injustice 2 was initially reported to release in 2017, but the exact release date of the upcoming sequel to the DC Comics game has been a big question to a lot of fans of the original title. New reports suggest, however, that the official Xbox website may have seemed to unintentionally disclose the date for Injustice 2, which indicate that the fighting game will be shown on March 28.
Injustice 2 Is Unlikely To Be Released On March 28
Based on the rewards section of the official Xbox website, Injustice 2 is included in the posted listing, along with Mass Effect: Andromeda. However, NetherRealm Studios president Ed Boon took to Twitter, debunking the rumored release date of March 28 for Injustice 2.
The denial from Boon is believed to be just a move to save the studio from embarrassment, further asking the fans to wait for the official announcement of the Injustice 2 release date. On the other hand, there are speculations that the Xbox website may only be using the March 28 release date as a placeholder until the final date is announced, VG247 reported.
Injustice 2 Gameplay Reveals Supergirl Skills, Combo Moves
The recently released Injustice 2 gameplay from IGN reportedly featured Supergirl skills, proving that the character has what it takes to fight enemies in the same way her cousin Superman, Kal-El, does. Based on this, the powers of the Kryptonians appear to be similar, although the abilities of Superman are more centered on brute force, while Supergirl depends on the combo moves and agility that can be difficult to predict.
Injustice 2's Supergirl combo move called Last Daughter of Krypton is reportedly one of the most important skills of the heroine in the game. However, the skill needs a longer chain of hits.
The Injustice 2 players that opt to show the raw power of Supergirl can simply kick the opponents in the gut. They can hurl them headfirst with the use of the power bomb, which can also be used as part of a larger combo or as it is, according to Attack of the Fanboy.
