Gamers all around the world have been anticipating the release of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” and it seems like they will not be waiting much longer as the official release dates of the said video game has just been announced. Moreover, it has also been announced that “Mass Effect 2” has now been made available for free.
Electronic Arts have just revealed the official release date of the much-awaited “Mass Effect: Andromeda” at the ongoing Consumer Technology Association (CES 2017) event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event, which commenced on Jan. 5, is a huge global tradeshow where developers and companies show off and release various projects that are related to consumer electronics and consumer technology. The said tradeshow produced a lot of updates on ongoing video game projects and the event will run until Jan. 8.
“Mass Effect: Andromeda” has been scheduled to make its official debut on March 21 this year in North America. It will then be followed with another official release in Europe on March 23. This news is truly something that will set off fans and avid gamers of the series jumping up and down with joy.
Electronic Arts have formally introduced the development of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” way back in 2015 during that year’s E3 Conference. The said video game is developed by BioWare, which also worked on the “Dragon Age” video game series, and has designed the new “Mass Effect” installment as an action role-playing game wherein players pilot either of the two main characters namely Sara and Scott Ryder. The said up and coming video game will be made available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
On another news, Electronic Arts have also stated that the PC version of “Mass Effect 2” has just been offered for free. This announcement was made soon after the official release date of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” was said. The Microsoft Windows PC version of “Mass Effect 2” will be made available for free through digital download.
