Check Out This All-Female Fighting Game From Greenlight

Fighting games have provided the gaming community with some pretty iconic femme fatales like Chun-Li and Cammy from Street Fighter and Morrigan from Darkstalkers, but a new game called Fatal Fighter is bringing in a whole new all-female roster to the fighting game genre.

According to Siliconera, the game looks to be inspired by classic fighting games like King of Fighters and Dead or Alive. The KOF element is somewhat harkened in the art style of the characters as well as the two-dimensional fighting mechanic, but the game also seems to borrow from DOA the undoubtable sex-appeal of all the main female characters.

The game comes from Greenlight, and it showcases a roster of very colorful characters that all have their own unique set of skills and abilities. It's even possible that the game could come with a customization feature that lets players put their favorite characters in differently themed costumes.

Pretty girls have always been a fighting game staple with all the classic titles like Street Fighter having their handful, but all-female rosters can turn out to be rare. Most of the all-female roster games have come from Japan, and the only all-girl game to penetrate the Western market in recent memory has been Rumble Roses, which came out in 2004.

As for Fatal Fighter, the game does not look to bring anything that new to the fighting game genre, but players are sure to enjoy the nice eye candy that the game comes with. Fatal Fighter also offers network battles and spectator mode, but without the game being released, it's just hard to tell how big it could get in the future. It's not like it has the fanbases of games like Injustice and Tekken. No official release date has been announced for this all-female beat-em-up bonanza, but eager gamers can expect Fatal Fighter to come out some time this year.
