B&O has finally released its amazing new wireless multi-room speaker at CES 2017. The company Bang & Olufsen has showcased the amazing speaker at the biggest tech event, the Beoplay M5 that provides an amazing 360-degree surround sound.
What Does The Speaker Hold
The speaker possesses a cylindrical shape and the colorways of natural gray and black as reported from CES 2017. The device has been designed by the award-winning Danish industrial designer, Cecilie Manz, who also was a part of the designs of some other amazing B&O products.
The M5 is covered in an acoustically transparent wool-blend fabric from the Danish high-end manufacturer Kvadrat. The price of the speaker would sell at $599 each. Also, these extraordinary multi-room speakers would set up at the high end of the market. The speaker has been approaching offers from audiophile brands such as Naim.
Some Added Features
The device has an amazing True360 degree sound that means no matter where the speaker is placed it will produce an amazing surround sound. The sound is produced by three features, a full range front facing midrange driver and a 5-inch neodymium powered downward-firing woofer. The device is about 7.5 inches tall and about 6.5 inch in diameter making it totally stylish and full of bass.
The Multi-Room Sound Feature
An amazing additional feature would be that M5 comes with built-in chromecast. This feature makes it capable of streaming songs from more than 100 music streaming services for up to 96 KHz per 24bit lossless. This also means that M5 can connect to any Chromecast-enabled speaker to create the multi-room experience. The speaker provides various connection options such as Spotify connect and also QPlay 2.0 as well as Bluetooth and Apple Airplay. It is a reasonable and amusingly bass heavy device that would be launched soon this year.
