Queen Elizabeth's health is raising utmost concern among the public. The Queen has not gone out from her home for more than five weeks already. According to sources, the Queen is suffering from heavy cold causing her to miss further Sunday church services.
It is not certain whether the Queen is able to attend the service at the 16th century St. Mary Magdalene church. Sources have confirmed that the monarch is battling a "hacking cough," like majority of the people in Britain. Experts confirm that the condition cannot be treated with antibiotics, therefore only recommending more fluid intake, proper diet, and ample rest.
Queen Elizabeth's recent state of health has interrupted her presence in the church services and occasions throughout Christmas and New Year.
"The Queen does not yet feel ready to attend church as she is still recuperating from a heavy cold," the Palace confirmed in a statement when it released that the Queen is unable to attend last week's service.
Princess Anne assured the well-wishers that her mother has been "better" after attending church service with her father, Prince Phillip.
For the first time in 28 years, the Queen missed the royal family's traditional Christmas service at St. Mary Magdalene Church due to cold. In New Year's Eve, the Queen remained inside once again.
Reports confirmed that the Queen was last seen on December 1 at Goodenough College in London. The royalty was last officially photographed on December 9 upon attending a ceremony with the Ambassador of Liberia and the High Commissioner of Bangladesh.
Prior to Christmas, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip did not pursue their trip to Sandringham in 24 hours because they were not feeling well. Later on, they opted to take the helicopter instead of boarding the royal train as they usually do.
The palace reports that Prince Phillip was also suffering from cold. On Christmas, the monarch was however well enough to make the traditional walk to church with the rest of the family. The Queen however remained at home.
