The DJI Mavic Pro is undeniably one of the most talked about tech product this year. Not only because is it super competitively spec'd, but also because it has become a subject of controversy when it was first released. Apparently, DJI had troubles shipping the drone on time, causing frustrations in the customers' end.
DJI Mavic Pro Shipment Issue
Just a few weeks after its initial release, DJI has been subjected to some customer complaints when the company failed to hit its own target shipment schedule. Apparently, DJI has accepted pre-orders for the drone but wasn't able to ship the units on time. This has led to customer frustrations. Eventually, the company came clean and explained the troubles they've been through that resulted in the said delay.
With that, DJI has also adjusted the ETA for the orders placed after the shipment controversy. Just a few weeks ago, the Mavic Pro's shipment ETA was set to be around seven weeks from order placement. Right now, however, it looks like DJI has already gained control of its stocks as the shipment schedule for new Mavic Pro orders has already been dropped to seven to ten days from order confirmation.

If you purchase a Mavic Pro right now, know that the company has set its estimated shipping time to 7-10 business days from confirmation of order. This is quite a leap from the shipment schedule set during the holidays. It looks like the company just wanted to get over the holiday rush before giving the Mavic Pro a shorter shipping time.
To refresh your memory, the DJI Mavic Pro is a compact drone with almost all the in-flight intelligence features you'll ever need. It also shoots in 4K and has a control range of 7 KM. Additionally, it can fly for as long as 27 minutes. For the price, the DJI Mavic Pro is currently sold for $999 by various retailers.
