Most people are excited for the release of Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2 this fall, but if the wait is considered unbearable for some, they can always try out the first game - which is on one big sale. As if now, the Game of the Year Edition of Red Dead Redemption is worth 50% off in Amazon.
Red Dead Redemption on Sale
The news was posted by Geek Deals on Twitter, and they say that the game will be worth about $15 ($14.99 to be exact). Aside from including the Game of the Year Edition of the RDR, the deal also includes the zombie-filled bonus - Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare.
According to Gaming Bolt, the game will be available to play for both Xbox 360 as well as the Xbox One, so any Xbox One completionists who seek to have the entire Red Dead franchise available for one console should snag up the deal when they can. It's also worth noting that there isn't any cut-off announced for the sale, so people should be weary on how long this $15 deal will last.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Release Date
On to Red Dead Redemption 2, news has come out that a store has accidentally leaked the release date for the game. So far Rockstar Games has been successful with keeping its mouth shut on the release date, but it looks like some retailers have spoiled the company's big reveal. The reports says that pre-ordering RDR 2 will have it scheduled for delivery on Oct. 2.
That date does not seem far off to previous news that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available in the fall of 2017, but since there hasn't been any official announcement from Rockstar, fans just have to wait till the studio decides to make a statement. Maybe there's even a chance to get the game as early as August.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set for a release his coming fall.
