Ford Bronco And Ford Ranger Are Officially Coming Back

After years of different speculations and customer demands, the new Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger are coming back. Ford officially confirmed the announcement at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, saying both trucks are on the way in a few short years later.

According to Ford, the Ranger, which is currently available in certain international markets, will return to the US in 2019. While the Bronco will follow suit in the year 2020.

"We’ve heard our customers loud and clear. They want a new generation of vehicles that are incredibly capable yet fun of driving,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of The Americas. “Ranger is for truck buyers who want an affordable, functional, rugged and maneuverable pickup that’s Built Ford Tough. Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4x4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city."

The Ford Bronco

According to Business Insider, the Ford Bronco was Ford's flagship SUV starting from the late 1960s until it was canceled in the year 1996 and replaced with the Expedition. The Ford Expedition had four doors instead of two and the company believed it would be better positioned to directly compete with General Motors' full-size Tahoe and Suburban models.

The Ford Ranger

Unlike the previous iterations of the Ford Ranger, the upcoming release will be a midsize truck poised to battle with General Motor's recently revived Canyon or Colorado. Although the Ford Ranger name may be no longer functioning in the US market nowadays, Ford has been selling a midsize truck with the same name overseas for nearly 20 years.

Now that Ford finally and officially confirmed the news regarding the Ford Bronco and Ford Ranger, many people are anticipating the design and features of both trucks. Also, many are very excited where will be the official date it will come to the market.
