Doctors are baffled by the mystery bruise covering a woman's face that suddenly appeared twelve months ago.
Adele Uden, 26, from Mansfield have been suffering ridicule and personal attacks whenever she goes outside her home. She gets bullied because of the large bruise that covers both sides of her face.
She has already gone to several doctors who have been left confused as to the real explanation of the bruise marks on her face.
She says the bruises move, appearing here and there at any given time. They have been coming and going since 18 months ago when she was rushed to a hospital due to heavy bleeding.
However, just recently, the bruises appear more often and look more severe that people have started accusing her fiance of beating her. She feels frustrated and embarrassed due to the mystery bruise but feels even more down when the doctors told her that her condition might lead to a more fatal diagnosis, the Daily Mail reports.
Uden traces the time she started feeling sick was after she gave birth to her son seven years ago through caesarean section. She started bleeding heavily then.
She was also diagnosed with endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, and inflammatory disease. However, according to doctors she have seen, none of those medical conditions could have led to the formation of bruises on her face.
Despite consulting with hematologists, dermatologists, and other specialists, the facial marks remain unexplained.
Uden also shares that she had almost died multiple times. Being resuscitated repeatedly, and having the bleeding problem, she also has to take 250 tablets per week, the BBC says.
She have also gone to the hospital before due to severe bleeding that she lost consciousness.
Her mother and fiance have both said goodbye to her several times, thinking that she would be passing away due to her severe conditions. It is interesting to note the Uden lives in England where people are said to be facing a health crisis.
Currently, she lives her life with the mystery bruise, still waiting for the doctors to figure out her baffling condition.
