Heroes Of The Storm Latest News: Every Character Will Be Playable For 3 Days This Weekend For Free

This is good news to those who love to play Heroes of the Storm. Blizzard has recently announced that this coming weekend, all playable characters of the video game will be free to play for 72 hours or three days. It is a tempting offer to all players who are waiting for such a chance to play their favorite characters for free.

This Is Blizzard's Way Of Celebrating The New Year

This special event will start on Jan. 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. and will last until Jan. 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. It appears that this is the way Blizzard would like to celebrate the New Year. Although the event is slightly late, it could still make the fans of Heroes of the Storm happy. The event will be applicable to all regions at their own time zones.

Heroes Of The Storm Is Offering 60 Heroes For Free

Currently, there are 60 heroes in Heroes of the Storm. They will all be playable for free for all players who will take this offer. Usually, there are only 10 playable characters offered for free in a rotational basis since this is a free-to-play title. To unlock permanent access to a character, gamers need to pay a certain fee.

Multi-Class Heroes Are Also Included

Included in the free playable characters are first multi-class heroes such as Ragnaros, Varian and Zul'jin. The latter is the recently introduced character in World of Warcraft. In a typical week, there are free characters that gamers can play. But the available characters are not to everyone's liking. It also takes time for new characters to be added into the roster. But it seems that this event serves to hype these characters to eager fans.

It can be recalled that Heroes of the Storm had its biggest updates in October 2016. At that time, Blizzard launched Heroes Brawl, a new game mode. It was previously called the Arena mode. This game mode is an action-packed gameplay with custom game rule sets and some surreal twists on its battlegrounds.
