League Of Legends: Everything You Need To Know About Patch 7.1

Patch 7.1 is now live but before you delve into the new update, you might want to check on the major changes that the game has gotten since the last patch update. Aside from champion balancing, there are also interesting new tweaks that Riot has implemented into the game - you can even call it, "aiding" AD carries. To give you a heads up, here's everything you need to know for patch 7.1:

Nerfs

First on our list are the nerfs on top tiered heroes such as Camille, Ryze, Syndra, Lee Sin and Poppy. To start off, Riot explicitly stated that prior to 7.1, Camille has had one of the highest win rates of all newly introduced champions in the past. So in this patch, they're toning her down by reducing her health per level and the duration of her passive shield.

Poppy on the other hand, had her passive's shield duration reduced to three (from five seconds). The damage on her ultimate was also reduced. Ryze, Syndra and Lee Sin had received significant nerfs. Ryze had his Q nerf, reducing the movement speed and shield given. Meanwhile, Syndra has her ultimate's cooldown increased and the damage of her W is also reduced. Lastly, the damage of Lee Sin's ultimate is reduced and his E no longer reveals invisible units.

Buffs

In the previous patch, marksman class and most AD carries feel a bit fragile, making them very susceptible for ganks and pick offs early on into the game. In this patch, Riot buffs most marksman heroes specifically Draven, Lucian and Kalista - the three of the four champions that have the lowest win rates among all AD carries. Jungle

Another major change that we see will see on this patch is the "nerfing" of the Junglers. Although it's not a direct nerf on the champions, they'll notice a significant change with their early domination by gaining a lot less experience on their beloved camps as Riot reduced all EXP granted by all jungle creeps except for Raptors which, on the other hand, now grants more EXP.

Elementalist Lux Visual Effects Enhanced

Elementalist Lux is the most renowned skin of the champion and is also considered as one of the most expensive skins ever made. To make it seem more valuable for its worth, Riot has tweaked the VFX of the skin to better improve its quality. The particular changes are:

Warning indicator of R - Final Spark is now immediately visible on-cast
Refined W - Prismatic Barrier's shield VFX is now more pronounced across all of its forms.
Refined E - Lucent Singularity's missile is now more distinguishable to better contrast the ability from other effects of the hero.

New Skins

There the several new skins that are now available for players (others are still underway for the next patch update). The following skins are now available in the game: Warring Kingdoms Azir, Warring Kingdoms Garen, Warring Kingdoms Vi and Space Jail Gangplank. Riot also confirmed that Firecracker Jinx will be released anytime soon.
