The Return to Ravnica spoiler by Wizards of the Coast at PAX East 2012 revealed the name of the set and this year, the PAX East Magic panel gave us Dragon's Maze and Duels of the Planeswalkers spoilers.

Unlike the Return to Ravnica spoiler, the Magic panel at PAX this year kicked right off with the Dragon's Maze reveals. The trailer for Dragon's Maze started off the panel. The basic idea is that the ten guilds have each been invited by Niv-Mizzet to send a champion to explore an ancient maze that runs through Ravnica. In addition to the ten guilds, Izzet Planeswalker, Ral Zarek and Jace Beleren are also all working on the maze. In a nutshell, it's a maze map and each time someone from your guild wins a match, you advance a little bit further. Once you've won enough matches, you win.

If the Return to Ravnica spoiler stole the show at PAX last year, this year it was the playable Duels of the Planeswalkers game. The biggest DotP news was about multiplayer formats and mobile gaming. This is welcome news for a lot of casual gamers and signals that DotP is stepping up to become a replacement for Magic Online.

There were a few other spoilers, including the 6/6 Gruul Legend who doesn't like non-creature spells. The name of the champion for each of the guilds was also announced, and can be found here.

All in all, the Magic panel at PAX East was definitely not a letdown and the Planeswalkers reveal was received no less warmly than the Return to Ravnica spoiler.
